Korean Pine seems like the best choice for Northern growing. I have observed many specimens growing well in Zone 4-7. I suspect it would grow in Zone 3, but have not been able to observe this. This pine will grow well where white pine would flourish. Korean Nut Pines cannot be shipped to California.
